Postal herpes treatment service
The Herpes Viruses Association has teamed up
with DrThom to offer a convenient postal treatment service for patients diagnosed with genital herpes.This service allows you to have the herpes simplex treatment readily available if you have an outbreak in the future. There is good evidence that taking the appropriate medication at the start of an episode reduces the length and severity of the symptoms so it makes sense to have medication to hand if your outbreaks are sufficiently severe.
To ensure it's appropriate to have medication sent to you by post you'll need to register with DrThom and answer a few medical questions. If deemed appropriate one of the DrThom doctors will prescribe the medication for you. The treatment will then be posted as recorded mail.
