This service is only for men who already know that they have trichomonas vaginalis and for men whose partners have been diagnosed with trichomonas.
Trichomonas treatment - how the service works
Register online and fill in the questionnaire. If it's safe to do so, one of our doctors will then send you the trichomonas treatment. We'll normally dispatch your trichomonas treatment next working day. You'll need to sign for it when it arrives. We'll give you a full refund if we think it's not safe to send you the medicine.
Trichomonas treatment - how to take it
This trichomonas medicine comes as one tablet that you take twice a day for seven days. If you take the medicine as instructed then the treatment is very effective.
Trichomonas treatment - alternative treatment options
We also offer a single-dose trichomonas treatment that you take on just one day. Both trichomonas treatment options tend to be effective if taken properly.
Trichomonas treatment - potential side-effects
Like any medicine, this antibiotic can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or an allergic rash. In addition this trichomonas treatment can (rarely) cause liver damage or blood clotting disorders. This medicine reactes very badly with achohol. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL from the day before you start to the day after you finish this medication. This treatment may also effect the efficacy of hormonal contraception.
Trichomonas treatment - unsuitable patients
You shouldn't request this medicine if you're allergic to metronidazole, pregnant, breast-feeding or suffering from liver or kidney disease.
