This service is only for women already know that they have trichomonas vaginalis, women who've had trichomonas before and recognise the symptoms, and women whose partners have been diagnosed with trichomonas.
Trichomonas treatment - how the service works
Register online and fill in the questionnaire. If it's safe to do so, one of our doctors will then send you the trichomonas treatment. We'll normally dispatch your trichomas treatment next working day. You'll need to sign for it when it arrives. We'll give you a full refund if we think it's not safe to send you treatment.
Trichomonas treatment - how to take it
This trichomonas medicine comes as five tablets that you take as one dose. If you take the medicine as instructed then the treatment is very effective.
Trichomonas treatment - alternative treatement options
We also offer a week-long course of trichomonas treatment. Both trichomonas treatment options tend to be effective if taken properly.
Trichomonas treatment - side-effects
Like any medicine, this antibiotic can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or an allergic rash. In addition this medicine can (rarely) cause liver damage or blood clotting disorders. This treatment reactes very badly with achohol. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL the day before, the day of, or the day after taking this medicine. This one day single dose course of trichomonas treatment is more likely to cause nausea than the seven day trichomonas treatment we also offer.
Trichomonas treatment - unsuitable patients
You shouldn't request this medicine if you're allergic to metronidazole, pregnant, breast-feeding or suffering from liver or kidney disease.
