infections that can cause vaginal discharge:
Vaginal infections - why is this service unique?
This service is run by doctors who specialise in sexual health. If you use this test and test positive for any of the
infections, our doctors will treat you by post at no extra charge. Our doctors can also answer any questions you put to them
using your online patient record.
Vaginal infections - how does the service work?
Register online, make payment, wait for the discreet pack to arrive, follow the simple instructions to collect a vaginal
sample, send it off in the packaging provided and we'll get back to you with the result.
Vaginal infections - how do I get my test results?
When your test results are ready, we'll send you an SMS (text message) telling you to log back into this website to
collect your results. If you test positive, we'll ask you to complete a short online questionnaire and if it's safe to do so
and you're over 18, we'll send you treatment.
Vaginal infections - how quickly do I receive my test pack?
Order before 5:00pm Monday to Friday and we'll post your pack in that day's first class post.
Vaginal infections - how quickly do I get my test results?
Test results are normally ready within five to seven working days of your sample arriving at the laboratory.
Vaginal infections - is the service confidential?
This service is totally confidential. We aren't allowed to inform your GP of the result unless you ask us to.
Vaginal infections - how long should I wait before taking this test?
If you're worried that you might have caught STIs from a particular event, wait two weeks before ordering this test. If
you don't wait two weeks, the test may not pick up signs of an infection that you do actually have.
